Our knowledgeable team offers preventative maintenance, retrofits, upgrades and emergency mechanical service on a 24/7 basis. As a division of Harris Companies, Harris Mechanical Southwest Service Division is also able to draw on the resources and expertise of an extended team of plumbers, pipe fitters, electricians, building automation engineers, refrigeration system experts and engineers, and self-perform a large majority of the work, saving its customers valuable time and money.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

— Make “cold calls” as required in representative’s specific area or as designated by Marketing/Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, or Business Development Manager.

— Execute business development action plans for defined targets and monitor sales activities and adjust to market changes as necessary. May be assigned to represent one segment of the company in a
specialized market.

— Develop and identify prospects from current clients, referral leads, and other sources. May lead/participate in presentations to new clients while establishing and maintaining effective contact
with clients.

— Provide input and feedback on issues relevant to client programs, work in progress, marketing initiative and sales assistance.

— May assist in the development and implementation of the Strategic Marketing Plan, department sales objectives, and individual sales plans.

— Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

— College degree in Business or Technical field preferred but not required
— 3+ years experience in new business development and outside sales experience
— 1 year minimum of heavy prospecting and cold calling and ability to generate quality leads
— Experience with customer relationship development/maintenance as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
— Valid Drivers License
